Google has announced the launch of its new AI-powered chatbot, Bard, which is set to rival OpenAI's ChatGPT. The tool will be based on the company's large language model, LaMDA, and will be used for a variety of applications.
This new Google chatbot will be answering questions about planning events and finding information. According to CEO Sundar Pichai, Bard will be an "experimental conversational AI service." Google never disclosed if their conversation bot will be free like CHATGPT or if it will be a premium or paid service.

According to my experience, you should not rely on AI-generated results for pure ranking on search engines.
Google's new chatbot is part of the company's wider efforts to invest in AI technology and bring more AI tools to its existing search engine. In their blog post, Pichai stated that he wants Google's AI services to be "bold and responsible" and to "combine the breadth of the world's knowledge with the power, intelligence, and creativity of our large language models."
Bard's luanching comes after Microsoft's announcement of its own AI-powered chatbot for its search engine, Bing, which is based on OpenAI's ChatGPT technology. Both Google and Microsoft are looking to use AI to enhance their internet search capabilities.
They also intend to provide more intuitive and detailed answers to users' questions. However, there are concerns about the potential for AI chatbots to spread offensive content or disinformation, just like the initial chatbots that were released by companies like facebook and others.
In my opinion, Google's new chatbot, Bard, is a significant development in the world of AI and search engines and highlights the increasing focus on using AI technology to improve internet search and answer questions. I also hope that this battle for AI market dominance will bring more amazing products to the internet.
